Agape Community Center serves 15,00 hot, nutritious meals a year to neighbors challenged by poverty in our Central City Milwaukee neighborhood. Children, teens, working adults, and seniors have an opportunity to gather and share food and community three nights each week, while also accessing community, health, educational, and social services.

Founded in 1978, Friedens Community Ministries' mission is to "operate food pantries and to develop programs which will empower persons to meet their needs and to improve the quality of life of Milwaukee residents. Currently, Friedens operates two pantries.

For more than 35 years, the six churches of Interchange have sponsored compassionate and relevant programs. The Food Pantry is the longest running of these. Located at Village Church, it is open every Tuesday afternoon and serves about 400 persons each month from downtown, the East Side and Shorewood. The Siggenauk Center Food Pantry operates as part of the Siggenauk Center, an outreach ministry of the Congregation of the Great Spirit Catholic Church. The food pantry strives to meet the emergency food needs of Native Americans throughout Milwaukee County and a small geographic area near the facility, with its greatest efforts centering on the needs of family with children and elders. Clients are eligible to visit the pantry once a month for emergency food assistance. The pantry also distributes holiday food baskets at Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter, dependent upon available donations and funds.

The House of Peace is a Capuchin Franciscan ministry founded in 1968 by Capuchins Booker Ashe and Matthew Gottschalk. It is located at 1702 W. Walnut Street. Our social service ministry includes being a community center that offers a food pantry, clothing center, medical clinic, spiritual care, legal clinic and more.
